Widget Management

Widget Management


After creating your project, you have the flexibility to arrange and manage your widgets according to your preferences.

When you first navigate to your project, a navigation page will appear, prompting you to create your email address and password.


Once you've logged in, just press Ctrl+I, and the Fouita toolbar will promptly show up. Then, select the Widgets list icon, and all your widgets will become visible.



You can incorporate widgets by either selecting "Add More Widgets" or "Create New Widget." Clicking on these buttons will immediately navigate you to the Fouita Explore page, where you can choose from a wide variety of widgets to add.


Edit Widget :

After adding a new widget and wanting to edit it, simply click on the edit icon


By selecting the "Edit" icon, you gain access to a page equipped with a comprehensive set of editing tools, allowing you to customize your widget appearance and trigger settings.





If you'd like to view how your widget appears, simply click on "preview," and you'll be able to inspect it on both mobile and desktop devices.



Editing widget basic title and description :

When you perform a double-click action on the title or description of the widget, you gain the ability to modify its values.


Clone widget : 

To easily duplicate your widget, just click on the clone icon.


Then this page will appear.



After editing and configuring the triggers for your cloning widget, simply click the 'Duplicate' button to create a new instance of your cloning widget


You can now locate the duplicated widget either on your dashboard or within your project, accessible through the widget lists .




Remove widget :

To remove a widget, just click on the "remove" icon, and the widget will be deleted.


Add widget to your website pages

There is two ways to add fouita widgets:

  • Add to page
  • Add to all page

    • 1. Add to page :

    You can add the widget to your current page and fouita will automatically detect which page is concerned with that widget.

    Note: make sure to add the widget again if you change the url of the page 


    When you click on "Add to page" you will be able to drop the widget inside the desired area inside your page.

    2. Add to all pages

    Sometimes you would like your widget to be present in all your website pages that loads fouita.
    To do so, you can click on "Add to all pages"



    You can remove the widget from all pages by clicking on "Remove from all pages"


    The control bar :

    From the left sidebar click on current page widgets


    You'll immediately spot the widget control bar, which empowers you to adjust the positioning of a widget within the page.


    Additionally, there's the panel icon that swiftly navigates you to the precise location of the widget in your widget list.


    Furthermore, the remove icon allows you to effortlessly delete the widget from your page. You now possess all the essential components needed to manage the widgets in your own project."
